The University of Venda (UNIVEN) online application form is currently open for anyone interested in studying for undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications for the 2026 intake. How to Apply Online at UNIVEN For 2026

To apply online,

Prepare Required Information:

  • South African ID number or Passport Number for international applicants.
  • Ten-digit cellphone number.
  • A valid email address.

Scan and Upload Documents:

  • Your ID or passport.
  • Your Grade 11 final results with the school’s stamp.
  • Your academic record only if you are a current student at another institution of higher learning.
  • Academic record and certificate of good conduct (if you have already studied at a tertiary institution).
  • Copy of study /residence permit / medical insurance /SAQA Evaluation Certificate (if you are an international applicant).

Complete and Submit Application:

  • Choose at least 2 study courses
  • Ensure that the names on your documents and the application form are the same
  • Fill in the application form and press the “submit” button to finalize your application.
  • You will be required to create a 5-digit PIN during the application process

Receive Student Number:

  • After submission, you will be assigned a student number.
  • Check your email inbox or spam folder for the number

Access Application Details:

  • After successful submission, log into the “My Access” page to view and track your application.

How to Effect the Application Fee Payment at Univen

A R100 non-refundable application fee must be paid before your application form will be completed. Follow the steps below to learn the process.

  • During the online application, applicants will be asked to pay the application fee before proceeding to the next step of the process.
  • Applicants must select the option “Pay by credit card”
  • Enter the details on the card such as Card Number, Card Holder Name, Expiry date (month and year), and the CVV Numbers
  • Ensure there are enough funds to pay the fee
  • Click on the tab “Pay Now”.
  • One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your phone to authenticate the payment. Enter the number into the text box provided and click on the “Next” tab.
  • You will immediately receive a payment receipt notification from Univen support via the email address you provided stating as follows Thank you we have received your application fee”.
  • Exit this page and continue with your application.
