The University of Venda has announced the application fees for online applications for the upcoming academic year (2025-2026). All new applicants, both undergraduate and postgraduate, are required to pay an application fee before submitting their applications. Failure to pay the fee will result in your application being invalid and you will not be considered for admission.

Must Pay Before Application Processing: You cannot have your application processed at the University of Venda for the 2025-2026 academic year before paying the mandatory R100.00 application fee. The university requires payment upfront, and a copy of the payment receipt must be attached to your completed application form. Remember to keep the original payment confirmation for your records.

The University of Venda Welcomes Late Applications

While the University of Venda (Univen) considers late applications for open courses, the standard application fee still applies. However, there’s a key detail to remember:

  • The standard fee only applies to online applications submitted during the regular application period. Late applications submitted after the deadline may incur additional fees based on Univen’s specific late application policy.

How to pay University of Venda application fee

How is the Application fee paid at the University of Venda (Univen):

Prospective applicants who are ready to pay the application fee must use the online payment system by following the details below

Step 2: Click on the option that says “pay by credit card” for payment by credit or debit card.

Step 3: Enter the following credit/debit card details

  • Card Number
  • Card Holder Name
  • Expiry date: Months and Year
  • CVV Numbers: the last three digits at the back of the card

Step 4: Click on the PAY NOW tab to effect payment

Step 5: You will get a screen that says, “Authentication is required for the purchase”.  From this screen, there will be a message saying:

  • To proceed with your purchase, please submit the One Time Password (OTP) that has been sent to your cellphone.
  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) in the space provided and click NEXT

Step 6:  You will get a screen with the following message:  Successful E Payment, press exit. You will immediately receive a payment receipt notification from Univen support via the email address you provided stating as follows “Thank you we have received your application fee″. You can return to the Online application web page and continue your application”
