What exactly is Unisa’s Incomplete Application?

An online application form for the University of South Africa requires applicants to provide an active phone number and email address. Failure to do so will result in an incomplete form, which will not be considered for admissions in 2024. Incomplete forms are not considered if applicants do not follow the instructions, leaving some required fields blank. Mandatory fields will be highlighted in red, and if not filled out, the form will be considered incomplete.

Incomplete forms may also indicate that essential documents, such as proof of application fee payment, were not uploaded. Therefore, applicants should fill out the form with caution and complete all relevant fields.

Documents Required For Unisa Admissions

To process your application at UNISA, you must provide these essential documents during the application season. Failure to do so may result in rejection.

Certificate, Diploma & Bachelor’s degree Applicants

A scanned copy of an ID
parent’s ID or passport if you are younger than 18
Your final Grade 11 results with the school’s stamp
National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Grade 12 IEB certificate
Transfer applicants must also provide conduct certificates from their previous universities
A scanned copy of your passport
certified school-leaving certificate and relevant diplomas
USAf accreditation from the examination board for South African universities.

Masters & Doctorate Degree Applicants

Students transferring from other universities must include a certificate of conduct as well as a study record from their previous university with their applications
International postgraduate students must attach certified copies of degrees/certificates to their applications.

When Should You Begin Your Unisa Online Application Form?

The University of South Africa (UNISA) is accepting applications for undergraduate and master/doctoral qualifications starting August 19 and September 14, 2024, respectively. Applicants must provide all supporting documentation by the deadline and are advised to double-check the course closing date to avoid late submissions. After the deadline, UNISA will not accept applications.
