NSFAS Reveals When 2025 Applications Will Open
NSFAS 2025 Bursary and Loan Application Opened
NSFAS has extended the application deadline for 2025 academic year NSFAS funding to Friday, January 31, 2025, providing a second chance for those unable to submit their applications. Students can now submit their applications at www.nsfs.org.za. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), whose application window for the 2025 academic year was launched on Friday, 20 September 2024, is expected to receive as many applications as possible within the application cycle.
The NSFAS management has stated that the academic year 2025-2026 application window will be available until Friday, January 31, 2025. All application documents must be submitted by the official closing date. All students who haven’t applied yet are invited to do so.
Great news for students! The bursary and loan application deadlines have been extended until January 31, 2025.

The NSAFS bursary and loan applications follow the same method, making it simple for all candidates to complete. You will be asked to select the I ACCEPT box after reading the terms and conditions; otherwise, you cannot proceed.
The difference between the two applications is the candidates’ annual incomes. NSFAS loan application requires an income of more than R350,000 per year. The application window for the NSFAS bursary and loan has officially opened. Apply online at www.nsfas.org.za.
