Eligibility:

First-time undergraduate applicants must complete the academic requirements of the program. We encourage everyone to download and read the 2026 UKZN prospectus in order to meet their needs.

Prepare Your Documents: Gather the following required documents:

  • Certified copy of your National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent

Minimum Requirements for Admission

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A minimum NSC score of at least 30% in the language of learning and teaching, and a rating of 4 (50-59%) or better in four NSC subjects, excluding Life Orientation.
  • Diploma: A pass in at least four higher-credit subjects (40%) and three lower-credit subjects (30%).
  • Certificate: A minimum of 40% in your home language, plus at least two subjects above 40%, and four subjects above 30%.
