The University of Fort Hare (UFH) is accepting applications for the 2025 academic year! The application period for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies is open from Monday, June 03, 2024, to Saturday, November 30, 2024. The application process is entirely online and requires a R120 application fee.

If you’re currently in Grade 12, note that UFH only accepts midyear results for provisional acceptance and final results for final acceptance. If you’re writing the National Senior Certificate (NSC) through IEB or SACAI examining bodies, you can apply online by selecting “National Senior Certificate” under the Results Detail section.

Application deadlines for the University of Fort Hare (UFH):

The University of Fort Hare (UFH) will launch its admissions portal on June 1 and end it on November 30, 2024, for the academic year 2025–2026. As a result, the administration of UFH cordially invites anybody who may be interested to apply online within the specified application period for its undergraduate and graduate programs. The deadline for UFH applications is November 30, 2024, at midnight. The application process opens on June 1, 2024.

Applicants are advised to gather all the required documents before commencing online or manual applications. This facilitates the entire process. A working email and contact number must be provided by applicants because that is the channel through which the university may reach them. Grade 11 Final Results and Term 1 Grade 12 Results (If you are currently doing matric)
Matric Certificate
SAQA clearance certificate (all undergrad nursing students)
Academic Record, including proof that the Certificate of Conduct has been requested from the previous University / University of Technology / Technikon if you had registered at another institution.

Fees for Online Applications for 2025/2026
