Candidates who are interested in working in law enforcement should apply to this program. Whether they want to work for the South African Police Service, the business sector, or the security industry, graduates from this nationally recognized certificate program will be able to advance the professional standards of law.

The information below is critical to your application process, so take note of them:
- D4DLPQ is the course code
- The Mode of Study is DB – “APK Continuing Education Programmes Part-Time”.
- For both processes above the “token” that must be used for applicants is LAWSLP.
What supporting documentation is required for these diploma programs?
- A certified National Senior Certificate or Matric Certificate (Grade 12) OR equivalent qualification with endorsement or exemption to study towards a diploma
- Certified marriage certificate (if married or produce a certificate of divorce)
- Certified identity document
- HESA evaluation of qualifications (only for international students)
- A potential student who does possess a Senior or Matric Certificate (Grade 12) but which is not endorsed for study towards this diploma, may consider enrolling for the Paralegal Bridging programme, which is presented by our department. On completion of this Bridging programme, the successful student will be permitted to enroll for the Diploma in Law.
Tuition Fees for the Diploma Courses for 2023 admissions: Please contact the office to confirm the course fees.
When to Effect payment of the tuition fee for 2023 admissions
The student will be informed when to pay the required registration fee when the application has been processed.
The next payment will be 60% of the remaining balance by 14 April. Thereafter the remaining balance by 15 August.
