How to Reapply at UFS | UFS Readmission Online Form 2024-2025

The University of the Free State is now accepting readmission applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. If your application for the 2023-2024 academic year was rejected by the University of the Free State, you must reapply for the 2024-2025 academic year. Returning University of the Free State applicants/students seeking reapplication can now do so through the University of the Free State’s readmission form, which is now open to the general public from April 01 2023 to 30 September 2024/2025.

Applicants seeking readmission must submit a new application form to the University of the Free State for the 2024 January intake, which runs from 01 April to September 30, 2024, depending on the course. Unless otherwise stated on the official website, University of the Free State will only accept online applications.

The applicant may apply to the University Readmissions Review Tribunal (URRT) for the decision to be reviewed if they feel that the RAC did not have, or failed to consider, evidence relevant to their application for readmission, or that there were significant procedural irregularities in reaching its decision to reject their initial application.

What to do if you were previously rejected at the University of the Free State

Fill out the application form to submit a request for review to the University Readmissions Review Tribunal (URRT). Within four days of receiving notification of the RAC’s decision, send the readmission form and the documentation listed in this article by email to academicappeal@ufs.ac.za.

You must submit a new application to the University of the Free State for the 2024 application intake if your application for the 2023 application intake was denied. Entrance is not always postponed until the upcoming intake. Both new and previous candidates must follow these guidelines. You may, however, only submit one application for the 2024 intake. This can only be accomplished by completing the readmission application form.

Readmission and reapplication for the January 2024 intake are now open at the University of the Free State. On April 1, 2023, University of the Free State readmission form was published on www.ufs.ac.za. The normal University of the Free State deadline for readmission is September 30, 2024. Postgraduate applications, on the other hand, have been extended until January 26, 2024.
