Do you have a South African ID number or are you a permanent resident of South Africa? Do you come from a working-class or poor family with a combined household income of no more than R350,000 annually?

A bursary offered by the Department of Higher Education and Training can help you pay for the tertiary degree of your choosing. The bursary is offered to those who desire to attend or are currently enrolled in a public institution of higher education and training (university or TVET college) in South Africa and is administered by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

When is NSFAS Opening for 2024 at Majuba College?

The NSFAS application cycle for the 2024 academic year is open from September 28, 2023, until January 31, 2024. NSFAS opens on September 28, 2024, and closes on January 31, 2024.

The good news is that Majuba Tvet College students and applicants who come from households with a threshold amount (gross income of R350k) when the portal opens for applications on September 28th of this year are qualified to submit an application for NSFAS financing for the 2024-2025 academic year.
