NMU Late Application 2026-Apply Now

The Nelson Mandela University 2026 application portal is now available for late applications. Prospective students who were unable to apply during the initial application period can access the official website to either restart or submit their application for the first time. Late applicants can now complete the 2026 late application form for admission to Nelson Mandela University.

When To Apply For Late Admissions At NMU

The Nelson Mandela University administration has stated that late applications for the 2026 academic year will now be allowed. Prospective students have until October 31, 2025, to complete their applications, submit all necessary supporting documents, and present proof of payment for the non-refundable application fee. Online submission is required for all applications.

Except for MBChB and BRad, which ended on September 30, 2025, all currently offered courses are accepting late applications.

Note: It should be noted that the programmes listed above also have limited space. However, for those prospective students wishing to apply to other programmes not listed here, there is an opportunity to apply to any of the country’s higher education institutions – provided there is space available – through the government’s Central Applications Clearing House (CACH).

How to Apply for NMU Late Applications 2026

Prospective applicants who are willing to apply for either undergraduate or postgraduate must follow the steps outlined below.

Go to Nelson Mandela University’s application page.
Choose Your Application Type
Click on the “Apply Online” tab to begin your application.
Carefully go through the instructions to make sure you meet all the requirements.
Click “APPLY ONLINE NOW.
Choose your citizenship before moving to the next step.
After confirming you meet the requirements, select the course you’re applying for.
Enter Your ID/Passport Number.
Complete all required fields
Submit the required documents as part of your application.
Once you’ve filled in all the necessary details, submit your completed application form for review.
Check your portal for your current admission status
