- International applicants: A non-refundable application fee of R550 applies.

NWU 2028 Admission Requirements
Admission to NWU for 2028 is mainly based on your National Senior Certificate (NSC) results using the Admission Point Score (APS) system, together with specific faculty and programme requirements.
Undergraduate Admission
- Requires a Bachelor-endorsed NSC or an equivalent qualification.
- APS is calculated from your best six Grade 12 subjects (excluding Life Orientation).
- Each faculty sets its own minimum APS and subject requirements.
- Competitive programmes such as Medicine, Engineering, Law, and certain Health Sciences require higher APS scores and may include additional selection processes.
- Non-selection programmes require meeting the minimum APS and subject criteria.
