The University of Johannesburg is now accepting applications for its 2026 short course offerings, including a course in Policing. The Faculty of Law also offers a variety of part-time law courses. However, spots are limited, so be sure to apply early for the 2026 academic year
When to Apply
The University of Johannesburg accepts short course applications year-round, offering flexibility to apply at your convenience. However, once a course is full, it will be removed from the available options, so it’s best to apply early to secure your spot
How to Apply for Policing Short Course at UJ
Online applications for the 2026 academic year at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) are open, but walk-in applications are required for short courses. Visit the Faculty of Law’s CEP Division to collect your hard copy form and secure your spot. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay!
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is offering a limited number of short courses for the 2025/2026 academic year. To secure your spot, you’ll need to head to the Faculty of Law’s CEP Division in person and pick up the application form.

Documents Required for UJ Short Course Applications
Please attach the following documents to your fully completed application form for processing:
