For the academic year 2024/2025, Port Elizabeth TVET College is now officially taking applications. If a candidate wants to develop technical skills and exposure to the business world, they should start their admissions application at Port Elizabeth TVET College. It is well known that Port Elizabeth TVET College provides its students with hands-on instruction and real-world experience. Students from Port Elizabeth TVET College don’t submit cover letters for jobs because they are fully equipped to launch their own businesses and hire personnel

List of Supporting documents that must be attached to the application form by all applicants

  • A certificate of Good Conduct, from their previous institutions of learning or place of work
  • A certified copy of the last school report original must be presented on the application
  • 8 certified copies of ID (where a student is 16 years or older) original must be presented on the application

Transfer Applicants must submit the following supporting documents

  1. A letter stating the reason for your transfer
  2. A letter to confirm that they have been de-registered at the previous institution
  3. A Certified copy of the Identity Document
  4. A report of their academic history on a College letterhead, including Internal Continuous Assessment (ICASS) and Integrated Summative Assessment (ISAT) results
  5. The student’s Portfolios of Evidence for all subjects from the previous institution, if transferring during an academic year
  6. A Certificate of Good Conduct, from their previous institution of learning

PE Application and Registration dates for 2024/2025 admissions: Dates for each course’s application are mentioned. Candidates are urged to visit the official website to learn more about the various courses’ closing dates. However, Student registration will take place in accordance with the registration dates as contained in the College calendar which is not yet released, notification on the releasement of the calendar will be made known as soon as it’s released.

How to apply to Port Elizabeth Tvet for admissions

  • Visit the Port Elizabeth FET College Online Application portal by clicking on “ww.pecollege.edu.za
  • On the page click on “Apply Now”.
  • On the left side of the new webpage, new applicants should click on “Apply“.
  • From the Comprehensive Web Page, new applicants should select “No” from the drop box option.
  • A new drop box will appear and new applicants should select “No” from the options, and read and accept the POPI clause to commence
  • the application process.

Note: Applicants who have already started the application process and could not complete it should select “Yes” from the option,

  • Enter their student ID number as well as their passport number to finish the application process.
  • Select your course, upload the scanned copy of the required documents, and then submit

Admission Requirement: The minimum requirement proposed by the Department of Higher Education for admission is Grade 11.

Admission Requirements For Other Learners (non-NC (V))

  • Vertical (Upward movement) articulation requirements must be met on the NQF structure
  • Qualification-specific requirements must be met e.g. SETA requirements.
