If you want to study at UCT, apply for 2026 admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies. To apply, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to www.uct.ac.za.
  2. From the menu at the top, select “Applicants & Students.”
  3. Go over the given material.
  4. From the list, choose “Prospective Students.”
  5. After reading the welcome message, continue.
  6. Select the tab for “Applications.”
  7. From the drop-down menu, select “Apply.”
  8. Decide if you are an undergraduate or graduate student.
  9. Examine and read the instructions for the application.
  10. To begin, click “Apply Online.”
  11. Fill out the application online.
  12. Choose your application year and qualifications.
  13. To continue, click “Click here to continue.”
  14. Submit Required Documents
    • Upload the following documents:
      • Examination results from Grade 11 and September of Grade 12 (for current learners)
      • Transcripts and academic records (for transferring students)
  1. Pay the Application Fee
    Pay the non-refundable application fee:

      • Undergraduate & Postgraduate Applicants (South Africa & SADC region): R100
      • Undergraduate & Postgraduate Applicants (Outside SADC region): R300
      • Graduate School of Business (GSB) Applicants (South Africa & African citizens/residents): R1940
      • GSB Applicants (Outside Africa): USD 300
