How to Apply
Applicants to the University of South Africa (UNISA) are required to complete their applications online by following the process outlined below.
- Visit www.unisa.ac.za
- Select “Apply for Admission.”
- Click on “Apply Now.”
- Choose your qualification type — Undergraduate or Postgraduate
- Carefully read the instructions from Step 1 to Step 3
- Go through the information on the new page before continuing
- Select whether you are a first-time or returning applicant
- Enter your ID number or passport number
- Fill in all your details correctly
- Complete all required fields marked with a red asterisk (✳)
- Upload the following required supporting documents:
- School qualifications
- Official tertiary academic record(s)
- Identity document (ID or passport)
- Marriage certificate (Optional)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
- Submit your application
