Apply to study at the University of Venda by following dates for the 2026 academic intake

Application Fee: R100.00 (One Hundred Rand Only), non-refundable

Documents Needed to Apply to UNIVEN

Attach the following documents:

A South African Identity number or passport number (international students)
Cell phone number
A working email address
Grade 11 report or statement of grade 12 results
A copy of Matric Certificate

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for degree study at UNIVEN, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

South African National Senior Certificate (NSC): Pass at least 4 subjects with a rating of 4 (50-59%) or better in any four 20-credit NSC subjects.
South African Senior Certificate: Must have matriculation endorsement.
Minor Applicants: A declaration from a parent or guardian is required for applicants under 18 years of age.
Applicants holding non-South African school-leaving certificates must qualify for a matriculation exemption certificate
