University of KwaZulu Natal (Ukzn) Online Application 2024/2025
Richadmissions.com has provided the guidelines for the online application to the University of KwaZulu Natal (Ukzn). Most applicants having the first time interacting with the application portal becomes confused and do not know what to do. Some people have only recently enjoyed having access to a smart gadget. hence, it is not their fault.
This article contains information such as the required documents, the application process, the instructions for applicants, and the admission requirements. This portal will keep you updated with any development regarding admissions. The application is ONLINE only.
Follow the procedure below to apply for admission for the 2024/2025 academic year
South African First-time Undergraduate applicants must follow these processes
- Visit the official website @ cao.ac.za and select “Apply.”
- After reading the details, press “Continue with Application.“
- Enter your ID number and click on ‘Submit’
- Click ‘Continue with Application‘ at the bottom of the page after you have scrolled there.
- Start by entering ALL of the required information.
- After you have completed all the required fields, click “Next.” “Continue with Online Application” should be clicked.
- You’ll see your CAO number, password, and EasyPay number in a pop-up window. Read the guidelines.
- “Continue with Online Application” should be clicked.
- After carefully reading the instructions and submitting ALL necessary information, click “Next.”
- Click “Next” after filling out the “Next of Kin” information.
- Once the school’s name displays in a box, you must enter the years that you first enrolled there and when you graduated from it before clicking “Search.”
- Choose “Next.”
- NOW THAT YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN SENT, CLICK THE BUTTON WHEN “Process My Application” IS VISIBLE.
- When your submission is successful, a notification will appear on your screen.
- Now that you can pay online and upload your supporting documentation.
- pay using EasyPay.
Please remember to upload the following documents (where applicable):
- Certified copy of your ID/passport.
- Certified copy of your National Senior/Matric Certificate or O/A Levels or relevant school leaving qualification/certificate.
- Proof from Universities South Africa (previously known as HESA), that you qualify for admission to degree studies at South African universities. (International Applicants)
- Certified copies of your degree certificate(s), academic record, and certificate of conduct (Transfer applicants)
- Proof of English proficiency for international applicants from non-English speaking countries.
- South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) evaluations if the previous qualification(s) was/were obtained at foreign universities (outside South Africa).
- A research proposal/proposed title of the dissertation/thesis if you are applying for a Masters’s Degree or Ph.D.
- A valid study visa to study in SA (International Applicants only)
- USAF/SAQA documents are to be uploaded in order to complete your application.
Application fee payment instructions
- Please ensure to use reference APPN (followed by your student number) when making the application fee payments.
- Please allow the system 24 hrs to 48 hrs to clear your payment.
International Applicants
- On the UKZN Application for Admission to Undergraduate Study (International) form, applicants must apply directly to UKZN for full-time undergraduate studies.
- UKZN charges a non-refundable application fee. On submission of their application, applicants must include proof of payment as well as all documentation asked.
- Applicants must make every effort to guarantee that their application and payment arrive before the deadline.
Uknzn Admission requirements: Prospective applicants must possess:
- Degree Programmes: National Senior Certificate (NSC-Deg) or a Senior Certificate with endorsement.
- Diploma programmes: National Senior Certificate for Diploma studies (NSC-Dip) or Senior Certificate.
