University of Pretoria (UP) Closing Dates for 2024/2025

The University of Pretoria (UP) Management has announced the application deadlines for the academic year 2024/2025 for all undergraduate, postgraduate, and certificate/distance/diploma applicants. For them to analyze the submitted applications, the school specified particular dates and deadlines for the registration of academic courses and the closure of admission. As a candidate, you should be cautious of the institution’s deadlines and closing dates, as they are highly important to them.

For non-selection programs, the closure date is an administrative admissions guideline. Regardless of the closure date, if a non-selection program is full and has met the institutional targets, the program will be closed to new admissions. If the institutional targets are not satisfied by the deadline, the program will continue open for admissions until the institutional targets are met.

Online Application Process/Procedure for the University of Pretoria in 2024-2025

The Online Application System is designed for new prospective students who are making their first application to UP. It is not for students currently enrolled at the University of Pretoria. Follow the steps below to apply:

Get access to the internet (Do not use a mobile Phone)
Enter www.//upnet.up.ac.za/psc/upapply/
from the drop box, choose ” Start New Application“
Click ok on the privacy notice pop up
Fill the Blanks with your details (Personal information)
Ensure the characters are entered into the security code field correctly
Click on the Go tab
A disclaimer opens up, read it carefully and continue (Do not discard this page)
Enter Your details by using the provided dropbox
Click on the OK button
Confirm your application on the next page and click continue to proceed
An ID and a temporal Password will be sent to your email. A working email is required during the application
Use this ID number and password to start your application by clicking on the link in your email
Create your password if you so wish
Click on the “save and next” button to continue
The application summary page is open for edit. this is the starting point for the application
Edit and start your online application
Upload the required documents in their right format
Pay your Application Fee that is non-refundable into the university’s official account details
Click on the submit button if you think you’re done
