University of the Western Cape (UWC) Admission Requirement 2023

There are requirements that applicants must meet in order to be accepted to the University of the Western Cape. Even if you fulfill these prerequisites, admission to the university is not a given. To get admitted, applicants must be able to fulfill this minimal and particular condition.

Just apply online using the University’s application portal. Applications should commence on the 14th of May, 2022, at the start of the Annual Open Day.

The following documents are also required during the online application

  • NSC Certificate or Senior Certificate certified copy
  • Identification Document Certified Copy
  • Proof of any studies you may have completed including academic records, if appropriate.
  • Proof that you are currently improving your NSC results, if applicable.
  • An affidavit summarizing your activities following your matric year.

Maths Code 3 OR Maths Literacy Code 4 is required for the BLIS and ALL for subjects
