UniZulu Online Application Closing Date For 2026

The University of Zululand (UniZulu) is currently accepting applications for undergraduate, graduate, and certificate/diploma programs for the 2026 academic year. Remembering that the application window has a deadline is essential. To be considered for admission to UniZulu, applicants must complete the online application, provide the necessary files, and submit the form before the deadline.

UniZulu 2026 Admission Application Deadlines

Applications for the University of Zululand for the 2026 academic year are still open. However, late applications will not be considered, so it’s important to apply before the specified deadlines. While the general application deadline is the end of October 2025, some courses have earlier closing dates, which are listed in the table below.

Applications received after October 31 will incur an additional late application fee set by the Central Applications Office (CAO).

University of Zululand (Unizulu) Application Requirements

Submit the following documents before the closing date if you want to study at the University of Zululand for the 2026 academic intake

Students transferring from other universities should submit an original academic record and a certificate of good conduct

Applicants outside of South Africa

• A valid study permit
A valid medical aid/health insurance cover
A valid passport
GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, or Cambridge School Certificate
Students holding a GCE GCSE IGCSE or the Cambridge School Certificate must have passed five approved ordinary-level subjects including the English language provided three subjects have been passed at the same examination sitting.

Follow the guidelines below to complete the CAO application form and secure your spot at the University of Zululand for the 2026 academic intake.

Ensure that you possess at least a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a good pass
Visit www.cao.ac.za.
Tap the Apply Now button
Enter your ID number or passport number.
Click “Submit.”
Select the appropriate option and click “Continue.”
Carefully complete the required information on the page.
Click “Next” to proceed.
Access your CAO number, password, and EasyPay PIN.
Use the provided credentials to continue the online application process.
Follow the prompts and complete each stage of the application.
Provide details of your next of kin.
Enter your previous educational qualifications.
Select “University of Zululand” from the drop box list
Finalize your application by processing it through the system.
Upload all required supporting documents.
Pay the application fee
