WSU 2027 Application Period

Applications to Walter Sisulu University for the 2027 academic year will open on 1 April 2026. Prospective students are encouraged to apply as early as possible and ensure their applications are submitted before the official closing dates.

Admission Requirements for 2027

To qualify for your chosen programme, you must meet the minimum entry requirements:

• Higher Certificate: NSC with at least 30% in the language of instruction
• Diploma: NSC with 30% in language and 40–49% in four 20-credit subjects
• Bachelor’s Degree: NSC with 30% in language and 50–59% in four 20-credit subjects
