Application Date for 2026

West Coast College will only consider applications received between September 1, 2025, and September 30, 2025, for the 2026 academic intake. Late applications will not be processed. Please note that applying does not guarantee acceptance. Apply on time, as spaces are limited, and preference will be given to merit-based applicants and those from the college’s catchment area.

Required Documents For 2026 Applications:

Complete List of Documents Required: Certified copies of the following documents must accompany each 2026 Application of the West Coast College:

• A certified copy of your identity document (or unabridged birth certificate if you are under 16).
• A certified copy of the identity document of each household member, including parents or legal guardians.
• A certified copy of your latest academic transcript or exam results (not required if you are in Grade 12) is required.
• Letter from the school informing NSFAS of fee exemption (if applicable).
• Certified or official copy of recent payslip, letter of employment, or proof of income for each parent, guardian, or yourself.
• Official pension slip or bank statement showing payment (if your parents or guardians are retired).
• Affidavit confirming informal trade employment (if applicable).
• Certified copy of the death certificate (if a parent is deceased).
• Certified copy of the divorce decree (if parents are divorced).
• Affidavit explaining reasons (if a parent does not live at home).
• Certified copy of a SASSA letter (if any family members are receiving a social grant and contributing to household income).
• Proof of registration or acceptance at TVET college or university for each dependent (if applicable).

N.B.:

• Two copies of each document must be provided.
• All copies must be originally certified.
• Faxed copies will NOT be accepted

Registration fee

Successful applicants to West Coast College will be notified via SMS or email after the application closing date with details on registration and enrollment. The college does not charge any administration or registration fees.
