How to Apply Online for Central University of Technology 2026

To apply online to study at CPUT for the 2026 academic intake:

Visit www.cut.ac.za.
Click “Student,” then “Prospective Student.”
Under “Application Process,” select “New Application.”
Choose the “New Application” tab on the left.
Please read and accept the instructions for new candidates.
Clicking “Accept” confirms your agreement to the terms and conditions.
Fill out the “Biographical Data” form using your ID or passport.
Verify the details and then click “Continue.”
Complete each section and then click “Next.”
Upload your Grade 12 certificate or select automatic upload.
Enter your educational information, including qualifications and subjects.
Choose your selected courses depending on program criteria.
Review and rectify any inaccuracies in the data.
Upload all relevant documents (if successful, mark “Yes”).
Click “Submit Application” and input your program code.
To add the program code, click the blue button.
Confirm the program is listed under “View Completed Application(s).”

How to Check Your CUT Application Status

To track the status of your application at the Central University of Technology:
