University of Zululand (UniZulu) Application Deadlines for 2025-2026

Yes, UNIZULU is open for applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. The application season officially opens on Monday, April 1, 2024, and closes on October 31, 2024. However, please note that some programs have earlier deadlines:

  • Social Work: August 31, 2024
  • Nursing Science: September 30, 2024
  • All other programs: October 31, 2024

University of Zululand Application Fees for 2025/2026 Online Applications

The University of Zululand (UNIZULU) requires an application fee to be submitted along with your application for admission. The fee varies depending on your nationality:

  • South African Students: R220
  • International Students: R275

Please note that these fees are applicable for online applications submitted for the 2025/2026 academic year. The university reserves the right to adjust fees in the future.

UNIZULU Admission Requirements

The University of Zululand (UNIZULU) requires all applicants for undergraduate studies to possess a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a minimum of:

  • Level 2 (30% or higher) in the language of learning and teaching at the institution.
  • Level 2 (30% or higher) in one home language, certified by the Council for General and Further Education and Training (Umalusi).
