For the academic year 2024–2025, it is now possible to submit an online application for admission to the Vaal University of Technology (VUT). The Vaal University of Technology (VUT) management board is requesting that all prospective students who wish to enroll at Vaal University of Technology (VUT) submit an online application before the 2024/2025 application deadline. Applications received after the cutoff date might not be considered.

VUT Application Opening Dates: Applications are still in progress for the academic year 2024. All applicants must submit their applications online through the VUT application portal.

VUT application deadline for 2024/2025 admissions: September 30, 2023. For the www.vut.ac.za online application 2024/2025 undergraduate academic year, there could not be a late application window, thus candidates are urged to apply as soon as feasible.

Supporting Documents for VUT Online Application

A copy of your academic credentials (e.g. Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
A copy of your tertiary academic transcript(s) (if applicable) (copies from the internet will not be accepted)
RSA students: a copy of your ID document or a copy of your ID/passport (international students)
A copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree (if appropriate) (if applicable)
If the documents are not in English or Afrikaans, sworn translations are required.

Go to Vaal University of Technology’s website and select the Admission LINK.
Choose your qualification for undergraduate or postgraduate applicants, and then proceed to the registration, application, and document uploading stages.
You will be taken to the Vaal University of Technology Online Application System form after clicking the link in step one, where you must fill in all of the essential information. You must first register if you are a first-time applicant.

Who is a first-timer and what are their requirements?

First-time applicants are individuals who have never previously used the Vaal University of Technology online application system and do not already have a username and password that they can use to log in.

Registration Requirements for 2024 applicants

At the registration stage, you’ll be asked for your name, email, password, program type, and qualification mode.
Everyone who is pursuing a new qualification must submit the necessary documentation. The application deadline is also the deadline for uploading the required papers.
After the application deadline has passed, no more documents will be considered.
The Vaal University of Technology does not have scanners or technological gadgets. Please make sure that all of your documents have been scanned and transferred to an electronic device before beginning the VUT Online Application process.
Pay the application fee once you’ve received a student number from the Vaal University of Technology. Use the student number as well as the application fee reference number from the Vaal University of Technology.
Your application will be authorized and processed once the fee is paid. Please keep in mind that this fee is non-refundable.
To complete the application, the applicant must complete all steps from Home to Submit your application.
If your application for admission to study at the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) is incomplete, you will have to reapply during the following application season.
