The Walter Sisulu University 2027 undergraduate application is scheduled to open on 1 April 2026 and close on 31 October 2026. WSU 2027 Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Students applying to WSU must meet minimum national requirements and any specific programme requirements as seen below.

  • National Senior Certificate (NSC) required
  • At least 30% in the language of learning and teaching
  • NSC must be Umalusi-certified
  • Some programmes may require extra subjects or higher marks

  • Achievement rating of 3 (40โ€“49%) or higher in four recognized 20-credit subjects (excluding Life Orientation)
