Applications are currently being accepted by the Tshwane University of Technology for the 2025/2026 academic year. Application deadlines for undergraduate study programs are set on specific dates in the year before the year of study for both South African and foreign individuals. You will need an internet connection and a regular email address to use the online application system. TUT Deadlines for Application 2026

Applications for admission to TUT Online 2026 open on 1 April and close on 30 September 2025. All applications must be submitted online before the stated deadline.

  • Go to www.tut.ac.za to access the TUT website.
  • At the top of the website, choose the “MENU” tab.
  • From the drop-down list, choose “Study at TUT”.
  • Choose the option “I want to Study.”
  • Carefully read the instructions.
  • Verify the general entrance requirements and the Entry Point Score (APS).
  • Select and click on new applicant
  • Enter your identity number
  • Complete all the required fields
  • Select 2 study courses
  • Enter your academic and employment background
  • Key in your academic results
  • Upload all required materials.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • A non-refundable application fee of R240 can be paid in person at
    • ABSA Bank Account Number: 04 000 000 3.
      Please enter your tenant number in the Reference column. NB. Do not make any other payments using this account number.
  • Reference number: After the application has been processed, the applicant will be given a special reference number (also known as their student number) for identification purposes.

TUT Application Form 2026-Fully Complete Application Form

  • ​​A fully completed application form and recently certified (certification may not be older than one year) copies of your original identity document and (National) Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results, as well as the administration fee, must reach TUT before the specified closing dates.​​
  • Late applications will be considered only if there is space available in the programmes concerned. TUT can accommodate only a limited number of students per programme.​
