Central University of Technology (CUT) Online Application 2024/2025

Richadmissions.com has provided the guidelines for the online application to the Central University of Technology (CUT). Most applicants having the first time interacting with the application portal becomes confused and do not know what to do. Some people have only recently enjoyed having access to a smart gadget. hence, it is not their fault.
This article contains information such as the required documents, the application process, the instructions for applicants, and the admission requirements. This portal will keep you updated with any development regarding admissions. The application is ONLINE only.

Ensure strict adherence to the following:

Internet access connectivity
An email address you regularly check since you will get a confirmation email with your student number (EMPLID) as soon as your online application is submitted.
All the required documents must be in pdf formats (Scanned)
Documents are labelled correctly
There is no encryption or passwords on the file

First-Time Application process

Log onto the official website @www.cut.ac.za
On the menu bar, click on the student tab and select Prospective student
Click on the application process after scrolling down the page
On the left side of the page select the new application tab
Click on New Applications
New applicants, read carefully. Compulsory fields. Must complete proceeding.
There is a document on this page, read it and Accept it to proceed.
Biographical data is all about you. Enter the data exactly as it is in your SA ID or Passport – no exceptions.
Make sure the university has the correct information.
Continue with the application process. Complete the information on the screen and click next.
You can upload your certificate manually or could be automatically uploaded if you have completed your Grade 12. To manually add, click Add Subject and continue to add each subject.
Provide your educational information at this stage
Indicate your Qualification: Where, when, and what subjects have you completed
Choose your desired course at this point after assessing the requirements (2 options, First and second choice)
Review the information carefully. Go back and correct any errors. It is important to do this now. Upload the required documents after this step. Without documents, your application is
incomplete.
Review the upload. Yes indicates that you have uploaded successfully.
A student number is generated. Keep your student number safe.
You will need it to log in and follow up on the application.
Click Submit Application. Enter the programme you are applying to study and click Search
Click on the programme code (in blue) to add the programme to your profile.
Click View Completed Application(s) and verify the programme is indeed added.
A notification will be e–mailed that your application profile has been updated.

How to Upload the required Documents

Read which document is required, then click Load/View Document.
Click Upload Document.
Click Browse and select the document from your device.
Click Save once you have browsed to document.

Current Matriculants: starting your application will not require any documents.

Already Matriculated applicants:

upload your ID
Senior Certificate.

Higher Qualifications than matric:

upload your ID
Senior Certificate.
Your qualification(s)
Academic study record
