False Bay College NSFAS Application Form 2024/2025, Does False Bay accept NSFAS?

All students wishing to enroll in a public university or TVET college may now access the online National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) application. Using your login details, you can submit a new NSFAS application or go back and finish an incomplete one. Beginning on September 28, 2023, and ending on January 31, 2024, NSFAS will accept applications from both new and returning students.

NSFAS anticipates that all application documents for 2024 will be due on January 31, 2024. All prospective applicants’ NSFAS online applications will be closed on January 31, 2024. You must apply and submit all required documentation during the application period.

Who Cannot Apply For 2024 NSFAS

You will need the following:

  • Certified student ID copy
  • Certified spouse ID copy
  • Certified proof of income (salary slip/letter)
  • Certified copy of latest academic results

What does the bursary cover?

NSFAS will cover the following expenses for every False Bay Tvet College student

  • Tuition
  • Incidental/Personal care allowance
  • Transport (students who reside between 0 – 9.9 km qualify for a transport allowance)
  • Accommodation (only for students whose home address is 10km or more from their registered campus)
  • Accommodation in an urban area
  • Accommodation in a peri-urban area
  • Accommodation in a rural area
  • Registration

NSFAS DOES NOT Cover the following:

  • Additional Distance learning program tutoring/teaching fees
  • Allowances
  • Learning devices
