How to Apply to Vaal University of Technology VUT 2024/2025

Applying to the Vaal University of Technology online for the first time can be stressful, especially if you have just completed your matric or Grade 12 exams. We have written this article to help alleviate that stress and frustration.

All prospective students can now apply online for the 2024 intake at the Vaal University of Technology. If you’re having trouble submitting or applying via online form, or even completing the Vaal University of Technology online application form, read this article.

The Vaal University of Technology will only accept online applications after April 3, 2023. We regret to inform you that the online application portal for Vaal University of Technology will not be available until April 3, 2023. You will most likely be unable to access the online application portal for the January 2024 intake until April 3, 2023.

What is required to submit an online application for January 2024-2025 intake to the Vaal University of Technology?

You must have a smart device with internet access to apply or submit an online application to Stellenbosch University. You can apply to the Vaal University of Technology with your smartphone or any other internet-connected device. Internet Explorer (IE) version 7 or 8 or higher browsers is the best browser for the Vaal University of Technology’s online applications due to its compatibility with the Vaal University of Technology online application portal system.

Finally, an email, scan copies of supporting documents, and a contact number are required when applying or submitting an online application to the Vaal University of Technology.

Documents Needed for VUT Submission During the Online Application Process

Prospective students applying to the Vaal University of Technology for the January 2024 intake should have the following documents available to upload while their application is being processed:

The Vaal University of Technology Application Fees for 2024/2025 online Applications:

When you submit your study application for 2024-2025, you must pay an application fee of R100.00. Please keep in mind that the application fee is not refundable. When your application is denied, your money will not be returned. Banking information and other payment methods are available on the official website, www.vut.ac.za.

How to Apply at the Vaal University of Technology

To begin, you must obtain an application form. You can download the application form from the Vaal University of Technology’s website, contact its information department and request that it be mailed to you, or pick it up at any of its campuses.

Please be aware that the NSFAS 2024 appeals process is now open to all returning, continuing, and new students. Within 30 days of receiving the unsuccessful status, students should file an appeal through their myNSFAS account. For more information on how to file an appeal, go to www.nsfas.org.za.

How to Fill Out the Vaal University of Technology Application Form for the Academic Year 2024-2025

Please follow the instructions below to complete the Vaal University of Technology online application form.

Applicants should go to www.vut.ac.za to apply.
To begin your application, click the apply tab.
As a first-time applicant, you must have a student number to apply online. This is accomplished by entering your bio-data, including a working email address, into the field provided.
The student number and pin will be sent to the email address. If you did not receive a notification, check your spam folder.
When you return to the application portal, use this student number to log in.
Begin by deciding on your qualifications or courses of study.
Check that you meet the program’s requirements.
To proceed, click the Save and Continue button.
All supporting documents must be uploaded at this point.
You will be unable to proceed if you leave a document behind.
The documents must be scanned and certified, with a maximum file size of 5MB.
Once you’ve received the number, pay the application fee, remembering to use your student number as the reference.
After making your payment, applicants should complete their process by reviewing to ensure all required fields are filled out.
When you’re certain, click the submission tab to send your fully completed application form.
You will be notified once it has been successfully submitted.

The Vaal University of Technology Courses and Entry Requirements

The University has set the minimum academic requirements for admission to the Vaal University of Technology study programmes in 2024.
The requirements are based on applicants’ South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination results.
Applicants who hold certificates from a different examination system will be considered individually for admission.
If you satisfy the minimum admission requirements stated here, this does not automatically mean that you will be admitted to the study programme at the Vaal University of Technology.
The final decision on your admission will be based on your academic performance and the availability of space in the programme.
The better your academic performance above this minimum, the better your chance of being admitted to study at the Vaal University of Technology in 2024.
