Nsfas New Application 2024-2025

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, or NSFAS for short, is an organization that collaborates with many colleges and organizations to provide financial aid to students who are enrolled or intend to enrol in a university or Tvet College. The NSFAS administration will release the application portal for new students and applicants to apply for different financial supports for the academic year 2024-2025 as early as possible.

NSFAS Open For 2024 Applications

The NSFAS application portal will be open to all new applicants who require financial assistance to complete their degrees in November 2023 and close by the end of February 2024. Only South African students with an annual average income of R350 000 or less would be eligible to apply for NSFAS aid.

NSFAS Income Threshold For 2024 Applications

Students who have not yet received approval for the NSFAS bursary program are considered NSFAS new applicants. Those who intend to apply for NSFAS financial support must be willing to provide proof that their annual income is not more than R350 000.

Physically challenged individuals who are looking for NSFAS bursaries must not make more than R600,000.

Additionally eligible to apply for an NSFAS bursary are new students who began their studies before to 2018 and whose household income does not exceed R122 000 annually.

You must have your cell phone number, email address, and cell phone. If you do not have this information available at the time of the application, you are not eligible to apply for an NSFAS bursary.
