NSFAS Payment Dates For 2024 Allowance

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme’s management has published the NSFAS allowance payment dates for the academic year 2024. According to the NSFAS, all authorized students, including returning students, will begin receiving their allowances on the same date.

The release of the allowances payment date ensures that students receive their cash in time to pay for their tuition, registration fees, housing, and study materials before the academic activities begin. In addition to the NSFAS allowances payment schedules, NSFAS released the method and mode of payment for all allowances in 2024.

What Does NSFAS Bursary and Allowances Cover?

NSFAS is an organization that helps outstanding but impoverished or needy students achieve greater heights in education by funding them in a university or Tvet college for the duration of their studies. NSFAS sponsors their students by covering the following costs:

Registration fees
Tuition Fee
Accommodation Fee
Food/meal
Learning materials
Daily or living expenditure

NSFAS Allowances Payments Dates and Schedules For 2024

When you are authorized for NSFAS financial assistance, money is distributed to each qualified student each month to cover the above expenses. Aside from registration and tuition fees, which are paid directly to the institution on behalf of the students, NSFAS will begin distributing student allowances directly to the Student NSFASBANK account beginning in 2024.

According to recent sources, NSFAS will begin paying 2024 allowances in June. This indicates that the official payment date for the 2024 NSFAS allowances to cover the cost of housing, food, books, transportation, and living expenses is between June 1 and July 31, 2024.

All NSFAS beneficiaries (UNIVERSITIES AND TVET COLLEGES) for whom registration data has been received from ALL universities and colleges and has been satisfactorily confirmed by NSFAS will start receiving the first of batch of allowances on July 14, 2024. The remaining recipients will receive their unpaid benefits by July 31st, 2024. NSFAS will want to ensure that all NSFAS beneficiaries are PAID by the 31st of July 2024 of all allowances

NSFAS Allowance Payment Modality in 2024

Students are urged to register for their NSFAS mastercard with chosen service providers so that they can benefit from direct payment from NSFAS. If you have not yet registered, you must do so immediately in order to get your allowance straight from NSFAS.

NSFAS has stated that all students will receive an email notifying them that their NAFAS account has been reimbursed with the due or unpaid allowances from June 1 to July 31. If you have not yet been credited, don’t worry; every student will be credited by the deadline of July 31, 2024.
