The University of Cape Town (UCT) has outlined the application fees for the 2026 academic year. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee before their applications can be processed. A receipt of the payment must be submitted along with the application, and the original receipt should be kept for records
Application Fee Required for Processing
Your application cannot be processed until the application fee is paid to the University of Cape Town. A copy of the application fee payment receipt must be submitted with the application form, and applicants should keep the original receipt for their records.
UCT Application Fee Breakdown For the academic year 2026:
South Africa and SADC:
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate: R100
Outside SADC:
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate: R300
Graduate School of Business (GSB):
- African Citizens/Residents: R1940
- Non-African Residents: USD 300
