The release of the school application costs for prospective Undergraduate and Postgraduate students who intend to apply online or manual for the 2024/2025 academic year has been officially announced by the management of the University of Cape Town (UCT). Before submitting their applications, all candidates must pay an application fee. Your application may become invalid and be denied for admission if this fee is not paid as necessary.

Can the application be processed before the payment of the mandatory application fee at the University of Cape Town for the 2024/2025 academic year?

A non-refundable application fee must be paid before your application form will be completed. The application form must be attached with a copy of the payment receipt. Keep the original payment confirmation in a safe place. This is a requirement that all applicants must abide by. see the table below:

Do late application fees at the University of Cape Town cost more?

Late applications are not taken into consideration by the University of Cape Town. Applications received after the deadlines specified will be rejected and not taken into consideration for admissions in 2024/2025. In order to avoid rejection, applicants must start their applications as soon as possible.
