Flexible Application Options: Rhodes University offers two convenient ways to apply for admission:

  • Online Application: Submit your application electronically through the dedicated RU admissions portal. This is the fastest and most efficient method.
  • Manual Application: Download the application form, fill it out manually, and submit it along with the required documents to the admissions office.

Eligibility and Sponsorship

  • South African Applicants: You can apply as either a Government-Sponsored or Private candidate, depending on your funding situation.
  • International Applicants: We welcome applications from international students who meet our admission requirements and arrange their funding.

Rhodes University Application Deadline for 2024/2025 Academic Year

The deadline to apply for admission to Rhodes University for the 2024/2025 academic year is November 30, 2024. This applies to all applicants, regardless of their nationality. Late applications for the 2025/2026 academic year may be considered, but it’s best to submit your application before the deadline to ensure it receives full consideration.
