Does the University of Johannesburg accept Hard Copy applications?
The application process page will guide you. The University of Johannesburg encourages prospective students to apply both online and manually. Note that late applications are not necessarily accepted. Plan to apply before the closing date each year. They do accept Manual or walk-in applications.
When to begin your application at UJ: The admission portal is only enabled after 01 June 2023 and closes on 30 September 2023. Applicants after this date cannot access the admission portal again. Is the Application form For Sale at UJ: Submit a completed application form with supporting documents together with a non-refundable application fee of R200.00. If Applicants apply online, there is no charge for that services.
What Programmes are available at the University of Johannesburg: The University has 7 faculties and a college viz., Education, Law, Humanities, Art, Design and Architecture, Health Sciences, Science, Engineering and the Built Environment as well as the College of Business and Economics, housing the newly established Johannesburg Business School.
What are the minimum requirements for a Degree, Diploma, and certificate?
- Applicants must have the right combination of recognized National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Independent Examinations Board (IEB) subjects, as well as particular levels of achievement in these subjects, as specified in the prospectus, to gain entrance to a faculty and a specific program.
- Learners who have not written the National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Independent Examinations Board (IEB) final examinations, but fall in the categories listed below will be referred to the faculties* for faculty-specific selection:
- ACE School of Tomorrow, NCV, NASCA, SC(a) N3/N4/N5/N6 results, and Any other final school-leaving certificates not aforementioned. PsyCaD evaluation and NBT results may be required.
