At the Tshwane University of Technology, applications are now being taken for the 2023 academic year. Deadlines for undergraduate applications are established on certain dates in the year prior to the year of study for both South African and overseas applicants. TUT Apply online for 2023–2024
Dates for TUT’s Opening and Closing in 2023: To make sure that your application is submitted on time, carefully review the list of opening and closing dates provided below. To utilize the online application system, you will need both an internet connection and a regular email address. Once your online application is finished, a student number (EMPLID) will be provided to this address as a confirmation of receipt. 2024/2025 TUT Online Application
2024-2025 TUT Closing Dates: TUT Online 2023 admissions applications commence on April 1, 2023, and close on September 30, 2023. Before the deadline, all applications must be submitted online.
TUT Application Form 2024-2025
- A fully completed application form and recently certified (certification may not be not older than one year) copies of your original identity document and (National) Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results, as well as the administration fee, must reach TUT before the specified closing dates.
- Late applications will be considered only if there is space available in the programmes concerned. TUT can accommodate only a limited number of students per programme.

Follow the steps below to apply to TUT in 2024/2025:
- Visit the TUT website at www.tut.ac.za to apply online for the year 2024.
- Then, under the top-right menu of the TUT homepage, select “Apply Now.”
- Complete the online application form with all of the relevant information.
- Before continuing, double-check that all fields are filled in.
- Fill out the form and send it in for consideration.
Application Fee Payable: A non-refundable fee of R240 for the application can be deposited beforehand at ABSA BANK, ACCOUNT NUMBER: 04 000 000 3

Minimum admission requirements: TUT’s admission requirements for entry-level programmes adhere to national legislation and therefore the following are required:
- Bachelor’s degrees: at least four subjects at performance level 4.
- Diplomas: at least four subjects at performance level 3.
