Who qualifies for DUT late applications?
To qualify for late applications, you must meet the following criteria:
- You have not previously applied for the same program at DUT in 2024.
- You meet the minimum entry requirements for your chosen program.
How much is the DUT late application fee?
The late application fee is R250 for domestic applicants (South African) and R300 for international applicants. This is non-refundable

Apply for the courses that are still available for the 2024 late applications at Durban University of Technology (DUT) through the Central Application Office’s portal by following the steps below
- Visit the CAO website: www.cao.ac.za
- Create an account or log in: Register/Sign In
- Choose “Apply”: Under “Applications” tab
