CPUT Late Applications 2026 Now Open. Is CPUT still open for late applications in 2026?

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) has announced late admissions for the 2026 academic year for selected undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You can now visit www.cput.ac.za to access the application form, complete it, and submit all the required documents as soon as possible. Since spaces are limited, courses will close once they are full, even before the official closing date.

Dates of Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Opening and Closing in 2026:

The late application period for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) runs from Tuesday, November 3, 2025, to Friday, November 14, 2025, for the 2026 academic intake. CPUT is now receiving applications for the 2026 academic year from all students, regardless of ethnic or racial background. Continue reading to find out which courses are still available and how to submit your application before the deadline.

Application Criteria

Applications are welcome from the following applicants:

National applicants (with an SA ID), including Refugee/Asylum Seeker and/or Permanent Residency applicants with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) / SC (Senior Certificate) / NCV (National Vocational Certificate) / National Qualification.
National applicants (with an SA ID) with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates.
Refugee/Asylum Seeker status applicants with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates.
Permanent residency applicants with SA ID with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates.
Regretfully, no RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) applications will be considered.

If you want to apply online at the CPUT Application Form for 2026, follow the steps below:

Go to the CPUT application website: https://www.cput.ac.za
At the top menu of the page, click on “How to Apply”
Choose your qualification
Get an online application form
Gather your documents or upload further/ outstanding documents
Fill out the online application form
Pay the application fee
Submit your completed online application form and documents
Follow up and check your admission status

All applications must be submitted online
Only the following categories are allowed to follow the manual application process:
- A Few non-degree programmes identified (if any)
- Dean’s Discretionary – 4th Choice (where applicable)

Late Application Fee Payable: A non-refundable late application fee of R150 applies to applications submitted after the official closing date.
