CUT 2027 Applications Open β How to Apply for Undergraduate Studies
The Central University of Technology, Free State, invites applications from prospective undergraduate, transfer, and international students who wish to study for the 2027 academic year.
The CUT online application system will open to the public from 1 May 2026 until 30 September 2026. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early to avoid missing out on limited programme spaces.

CUT Undergraduate Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements before they can be considered for any programme.
General Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification
- A minimum Admission Point Score (APS) of 27 points
- At least 50% in English, which is the language of instruction at CUT
