How to Add/Cancel Course at TUT for 2023
How do I add another course at Tut?: A student who wishes to switch from one course and or programme to another is at liberty to do so but with the various protocols and instructions. Such applicants must prepare some required documents and fill out the application form, and submit it for review by the authorities of the university.
Why Most Students change or Add Courses at TUT
During their time at the university, students may add or drop courses for a variety of reasons, and under certain conditions. It can be difficult and a major decision to change your route, therefore you should attempt to avoid doing so if at all possible.
The educational experience is subpar. Even though a student may still love the subject, they might not be having fun in class. Perhaps you dislike a certain subject or topic, believe that the lecturers aren’t as helpful as you had hoped, or feel that the course content could be presented in a more exciting way.
Struggling to adjust to campus life: It’s possible that students’ opinions of their course are influenced by other parts of university life rather than by how much they dislike their course itself. Many students mistakenly believe they dislike their subject and want to change it when, in reality, they are simply having a difficult time adjusting to university life.
Career aspirations have changed: Students after certain expiration of time change their perception with regards to the career path and would like to change the course to fit new aspirations. This is perhaps influenced by different encounters of the student while on campus.
The change of qualification application form must be submitted with the following documents:
- Your certified copy of an ID or Passport
- Your certified copy of the statement of symbols or National Senior Certificate.

- Take note of this: “You are only going to be considered for your second (2nd) choice if you have not been selected for your first (1st) choice and if the course concerned can still accommodate additional students at that stage.
