NSFAS 2024 Bursary and Loan Application Extended

This is great news for everyone who hasn’t applied to NSFAS 2024 yet! The application deadline for the 2024 academic year NSFAS funding has been pushed forward to Thursday, February 15, 2024. Consequently, those who were unable to submit their applications now have a second chance. Visit www.nsfs.org.za right away to submit a funding application.

NSFAS Application Cycle for 2024-2025

The NSFAS management has announced that the application window for the 2024–2025 academic year will remain open until February 15, 2024. The deadline for NSFAS 2024 funding ends on February 15, 2024, so students who haven’t applied yet are encouraged to do so right away.

Good news for students! Both the bursary and loan application deadlines have been extended to February 15th, 2024.

NSFAS Loan Eligibility for 2024 Applications

Household income between R350,000 and R600,000.
TVET or public university student (undergraduate or postgraduate).

Studying specific programs:

70% STEM (adjustable to include in-demand commercial programs).
30% Social Sciences.
Willing to sign a loan agreement.

NSFAS Bursary and Loan Consent Form Reminder

Submit a consent form for both bursary and loan schemes.
Verifies income/employment information of parents/guardians/spouses.
Download and upload the form on the NSFAS website/portal/app.
