UNISA 2025 Applications Now Open

UNISA, a prestigious South African institution, is accepting enrollment for the 2025 academic year. Applications are now open, and the earlier you enroll, the better.

Unisa is offering a chance for first-time applicants seeking qualifications such as undergraduate, HONOURS, postgraduate diploma, master’s, and doctoral programs, current students seeking new specializations, candidates who were previously offered a space but not registered for the first semester, or those completing higher certificates or programs transferring credits from another institution, to submit their application from August 21 to November 22, 2024.

UNISA Second Semester Online Application 2025

Applications for selected undergraduate, honours, postgraduate diploma, master’s, and doctoral qualifications at the University of South Africa, UNISA, for the second semester of 2024–2025 are no longer being accepted. However, applications for semester two  2 of the short learning programs are still being accepted from now until July 14, 2024.

UNISA First Semester Online Application Date 2025

The University of South Africa, UNISA, is accepting applications for the academic year 2025. Students can apply through TVET colleges or online through Unisa. No applications will be accepted after November 22, 2024. Grade 12 students can apply for UNISA admission to undergraduate degrees from August 21, 2024. No applications will be accepted after October 11, 2024.

UNISA Late Applications For 2025

UNISA will close its online application portal for 2025 after November 22, 2024, and will not accept applications or documents submitted after this date, requiring reapplying during the 2026 application period.

UNISA Online Application Fee For 2025

The non-refundable application fee for self-help and online UNISA applications at Unisa is R135.00 for first-time candidates. No returning UNISA students are required for the 2025 academic year. The fee is non-refundable even if students choose not to study through Unisa or are not admitted to UNISA.

Prospective UNISA applicants must pay a non-application fee of R135 via various methods such as bank deposit, debit card, credit card, Unisa web credit card payment, or EFT.

UNISA Application Documents Required  For 2025

The document required for 2025 admissions at the University of South Africa includes the following items.

  • A copy of your academic transcript (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
  • Your transcript(s) from your tertiary institution (if applicable) (Internet copies will not be allowed.)
  • (RSA pupils) a copy of your identification document or passport (international students)
  • A copy of your divorce decree or marriage certificate, as relevant (if applicable)
  • Sworn translations are needed if the documents aren’t in Afrikaans or English.
