University of Zululand (UniZulu) Online Application Form 2023/2024

All interested applicants are welcome to fill out the University of Zululand (UniZulu) admission application form 2024/2025, regardless of colour, ethnicity, ethnic identity, religion, gender, or country of origin, as long as they meet the requirements for the program for which they have applied.

South Africans and interested foreign applicants can apply as Government Sponsored or Private candidates for the University of Zululand (UniZulu) admissions electronically or manually.

The following are supposed to be uploaded or submitted with the application form. Applications without these documents will be denied.

Both international and south African applicants

Identity Document
Diploma or Degree certificate (if available)
An academic record with conduct in respect of studies at another tertiary institution
Proof of payment of the non-refundable application fee (see relevant fee above);
Matric results/certificate

International Students only

Foreign students must in addition provide the following documents:

Valid passport and study permit
SAQA verification certificate
Proof of financial means (bank statements, bursaries, cash available/traveller’s cheque to cover envisaged living expenses during the sojourn in the Republic and to pay tuition fees)

Each Application Must Be Supplied With Certified Copies Of The Above Documents

Unizulu Registration Fee for 2023 Admissions: The Unizulu application fee is R220 for South African students and R275 for international students, and it must be accompanied by your application form.

Before you can apply, the following information is critical

CAO/ID Number
A cellphone (with cell number entered on your application) OR
Access to your email (which was entered on your application)

Enter www.cao.ie into your browser and click on the Apply button.
Carefully fill out your personal information.
Provide a valid email address – For security and communication purposes, a valid email address is essential. Failure to give a genuine email address may result in severe penalties.
Select the qualifications and assessments section(s) that are relevant to you.
Decide on a payment method. You will be transferred to a third-party payment provider if you are paying by credit or debit card. The CAO system will not keep any payment card information.
Make a password for yourself. You can use the forgotten password feature if you forget your password. To automatically reset your password, you’ll need your CAO application number, date of birth, and your account’s registered email address.
You must then click on ‘Proceed with application’ to obtain your CAO application number.

University Of Zululand Admission Requirements

The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC)
An old Senior Certificate with an endorsement that the holder has complied with the minimum statutory matriculation requirements
Senior certificate/school leaving certificate from the matriculation examination.
